PROCUREMENT
SERVICES
Procurement Services are provided on a “contract” basis. This will be agreed upon prior to commencement and be reviewed prior to the commencement of each successive stage. Each stage of a project is only started when we have your written confirmation to proceed.
In preparing the basic frame work for the project, we will obtain from you the following items –
- bill of
materials or engineering / equipment
specification
- details on
the geographical range of the equipment
search
- expected time
frame for procurement
We will also obtain from you the price and cost budgets for purchase, refurbishment, mobilisation and commissioning, plus any other factors of importance to the project.
Having obtained and agreed on the above information, we will provide a budget of the man hours required to complete the initial research and reporting.
Procurement
Services are provided on a “contract” for a
“scope of work” basis. This will be agreed upon
prior to commencement and be reviewed prior to
the commencement of each successive stage. Each
stage of a project is only started when we have
your written confirmation to proceed.
Reporting is generally a 2 or 3 stage process, relative to the job at hand and number of options identified. Where a larger project requires a significant number of different items, these may need to be managed separately but will be grouped, where possible, to provide the most cost effective service available.

the equipment technical data
- market assessment & reporting
- identifying and implementing a marketing strategy according to the equipment
- developing a target audience appropriate to the equipment
- developing the marketing flyers
- developing the information brochures
- web-hosting the brochures
- delivering the flyers via electronic marketing

VALUATION SERVICES
Valuation Services allow businesses to obtain up-to-date valuations of their equipment, machinery or complete plant. As certified practicing valuers associated with the Auctioneers and Valuers Association of Australia (AVAA), we can provide an accurate value assessment whether it is for selling, insuring, leasing, refinancing or annual reporting purposes.
Circumstances where Valuation Services will be most beneficial include:
- When acquiring the assets of a company, a business may require the valuation of equipment and other assets for the purpose of allocating the purchase price.
- Purchasing used equipment or machinery may drive the need to estimate the fair market value, economic life or remaining useful life.
- Selling idle and surplus equipment or machinery creates an opportunity to determine market value of these assets.
- Leasing equipment may create the need to assess the current and residual value of the assets, as well as the economic life.
- Seeking outside financing arrangements for equipment assets may require valuation services for lender support or insurance purposes.
- Donating equipment assets to a charitable organization may require a valuation to establish the value of the contribution for tax reporting purposes.
In determining the best approach and methodology for each Valuation project, GES takes into account the specific requirements of the client.
