This fully automatic airless tunnel type shot blasting machine is set up with roller conveyor feed and has 3200 mm wide x 1500 mm high clear feed opening and can accept material up to 12 mtrs long.
On pass-through the shot blast machine, items are treated by 10 x 11 KW blast wheels with the abrasive material collected via a 120 tonne/hour bucket wheel excavator system back to storage in the 6 tonne abrasive storage bin.
After blasting is completed, the materials pass through an 18.5 kw blow off system and dust is collected by a 37 kw and 54 filter cartridge dust collector with a capacity of 33,0000 m3/hour.
The three conveyors for feed, processing and recovery sections are adjustable form 0.5 - 5 mtrs per minute via PLC control.
This system is designed for removal of mill and forge scale, rust, pre-treatment for painting of structural steel, removal of burrs and flashes, increasing surface roughness for painting, removal of moulding sand and residues and provides a highly efficient system improving work floor productivity and dramatically reduces project delivery times and costs.
